Risk reimagined: introducing the upgraded Risk Insights Report
We’re launching our upgraded Risk Insights Report – designed to help you assess risk faster, with greater clarity, and more meaningful context.
Built for the way modern firms manage risk, the new report goes beyond a rigid, equally rated scoring model, to a fully configurable, context rich, risk assessment framework.
What is the Risk Insights Report?
The Armalytix Risk Insights Report is a single checklist, relevant to your particular firm and client, that lets you set your own risk parameters and automatically flags risky clients early.
The previous report
- Equal weight is assigned to all risk parameters, making it difficult to differentiate and assign risk levels.
- Scores are measured as an absolute value (5/10) making it harder to compare if risk parameters change.
- There is no context surrounding what is considered a “Good” vs “Bad” score.
- The client’s underlying situation or individual risk parameters is also given no context.
Risk Insights v2: what’s changed?

Instead of receiving a risk score with no context, no weighting flexibility, and no ability to set your own risk appetite, the Risk Insights Report increases the depth and usability of risk reporting by giving firms much more control over how risk is assessed:
- See the bigger picture with a holistic overview of your client’s responses and financial position.
- Tailor risk scoring to your firm by assigning different weightings to individual risk parameters based on their relative importance.
- Compare reports more easily as parameters change with risk score normalised into a percentage score.
- Define your own risk appetite through client-specific low, medium, and high risk tiers.
- Understand what’s driving the score with a clear risk summary that explains the factors behind flagged risks, based only on the criteria you’ve chosen to monitor.
- Escalate with confidence using the new “Consider” section, which highlights factual contradictions or anomalies that may warrant further investigation or review.
Why it matters for AML compliance
Risk scores on their own only tell part of the story. Without context, flexible weighting, or the ability to reflect your firm’s own risk appetite, they may limit the value of the assessment and make it harder to prioritise reviews effectively.
The upgraded Risk Insights Report addresses these gaps by providing richer context, configurable risk scoring, and tailored risk thresholds, giving firms a more practical and meaningful way to assess AML risk.
