Take control of your financial data.
Ditch the paperwork.

Many businesses you deal with – from financial to legal and more – must ask you to provide information about your money and bank accounts before they can work with you.

Armalytix is an FCA regulated firm that frees you from the burden of completing forms, using Open Banking to make it fast, simple and secure to provide that information. We put you in control – you only share the data you need to. Protecting you and your financial data is at the heart of what we do.

Simplicity. Security. Control.

Armalytix is secure and simple to use across mobile or desktop. We only gather the information you want to share and we cannot move money, make payments or control your account in any way. What is Open Banking?

Open Banking is a revolution in banking and finance. It has opened the way for you and your financial companies to digitally and securely share information previously locked away in your bank.

Armalytix is here to put you in control of that financial information, letting you decide who can see what and when.

What our clients say

Clear and straightforward check with control. Had to do a check with Armalytix and connect my accounts which was easy to do.
It was nice that I could review all the data that was imported before sharing it. Gave me a lot of control to decide what to send.

User - Armalytix

It was a quick and simple process. I used Armalytix to get access to my transactions and it wasn’t hard at all! All I had to do was choose my bank accounts from the list and press the continue button and the rest was taken care of in less than a minute.

Why are you asking me to connect my bank account?

Gathering and proving financial information is difficult and time-consuming. Our service will allow you to do this and send information quickly and securely to make your life easier.

Will you get access to my money or be able to change anything?

No. You only give us permission to view your transactions and account information and we cannot do anything else. We do not and can not move money, make payments or control your account in any way. We don’t get access to your logins, and you can remove our access at any time.

Where will you send my information?

Nowhere, unless you tell us to. We won’t send your information anywhere without your consent and we will only send it to organisations you choose. You will see the information that will be shared and will be asked to confirm that you are happy to share it with your chosen organisations.

Why should I trust you with my information?

Your privacy is important. Armalytix is accredited by IASME for Cyber Essentials and complies with the requirements of the scheme. We use bank level security when getting and sending your information and only gather the requested information, even if your bank makes more available to us. We can only view your information; we cannot make any changes. By using our services you do not breach your banking terms and conditions and you can remove our access at any time.

Are you FCA Regulated?

Yes. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Account Information Service Provider under the Payment Services Regulations 2017. Our Firm Registration Number is 911236.

How long does my consent for you to view my accounts last for?

Once we have gathered the information from your accounts you can choose to close the connection and remove our access. Even if you do not, the maximum time this consent will last for is 90 days, after which we will ask you for permission to connect to the accounts again. You can choose to revoke this consent at any time.

How do you connect to my bank?

We communicate securely with your bank using a system called Open Banking, and your bank will ask you to confirm you are happy for us to see your bank account details before we connect.

Can I use either desktop or mobile?

Yes, though you will need online banking set up and an internet connection. You can click on ‘Get started’ within the email from either your mobile or your desktop. If you have a banking app on your mobile you may find the journey faster, but it is not required.

Why is my bank not available on the list of banks to connect?

Unfortunately, some banks are still updating their systems to adopt Open Banking and we are adding them as they come online. Armalytix is currently available for over 98% of UK sterling current accounts. If your bank is not available, then you will be able to add it manually and upload evidence. However, it is advisable to contact the company that sent you the Armalytix request to confirm with them whether they will still get value from an Armalytix report that does not contain any bank data, as in most cases the value of the report is driven by the bank data that we are able to collect via Open Banking.

My bank is on the list, but when I try to connect it doesn’t work?

Sometimes, connections to your bank may be down and armalytix will tell you something has gone wrong. This is probably due to maintenance by the banks. Try again in a few hours and if it is still not working please get in touch on [email protected]

Can I add accounts from different banks to my report?

Yes. For those reports where you may need financial information from more than one account, you will be given the option to add another bank.

Why is my savings account not available to connect?

The ability to connect savings accounts can vary from bank to bank as they update their systems. We are working with industry bodies to encourage all banks to allow this. In the meantime, you can still verify your current account and move money around as needed using your normal banking methods or add your savings account manually.

Can I connect my joint account?

Generally, yes. However, if you are not the primary name on the joint account, some banks may ask you to get approval from the primary name before sharing information. Your bank should show you the process to get this approval when you try to connect. Once you have permission, return to the original invitation email, click ‘Get started’ and login as an ‘Existing user’ with the password you set when you created your account.

Can I use Armalytix for my own business?

Yes. Visit our business page to find out more and click ‘Get in touch’ to discuss getting set up.
